The Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project will present its next monthly community meeting on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Harrington Elementary School, 2501 Gisler St. and at Rio Real Elementary School, 1140 Kenny St., both in Oxnard.
“Both locations can use your help from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. At Harrington School we will be continuing our literacy program and looking for bilingual volunteers that can help us with that. We will also need help doing crafts with the children at both locations,” Donna Foster, operations manager for MICOP, stated in a media release.
