Ventura Countywide Continuum of Care – Request for Proposals

VENTURA — On behalf of the Countywide Continuum of Care (VC CoC), the Ventura County Executive Office has released a request for proposals (RFP) for the FY19 Continuum of Care funding competition. HUD announced the FY19 Continuum of Care Notice of Funding Availability on July 3, 2019.

The VC CoC is soliciting applications from eligible organizations for projects designed to quickly re-house homeless individuals, families, persons fleeing domestic violence, and youth while minimizing trauma and dislocation, promoting access and utilization of mainstream programs, and optimizing self-sufficiency. Up to $2,180,607 in funds is available for both new and renewal projects. In addition, $383,951 bonus funding is available, as well as $371,641 domestic violence bonus funding. Applications will be competitively ranked and scored by a Continuum of Care committee. The CoC Board will make final funding decisions at their meeting on September 11, 2019.

All new and renewal applications are due on Friday, August 23, 2019.
