VENTURA —Ventura County Young Democrats and the Ventura County Democratic Party have endorsed Jeannette Sanchez-Palacios for Ventura City Council.
“Jeannette’s dedication to working families is unsurpassed by none,” said Shawn Terris, Chair of the Ventura County Democratic Party. “Her integrity is above reproach, and she is an altruistic public servant who cares about our community.”
Sanchez-Palacios has a passion for investing in our youth and getting them involved early on in the political process, whichis key to making it a lifelong habit in our democracy. Local government is often the most overlooked level of government, even though it has the most impact on our day-to-day lives.
She will continue to build on her reputation as an effective leader and trusted advisor for several of Ventura County’s most prominent progressive leaders and non-profit organizations.
“Our organization is proud to endorse a leader like Jeannette,” said Lexie Gritlefeld, President of Ventura County Young Democrats. “We are impressed by her experience, values, priorities, and most of all – her love for the City of Ventura. She will be a wonderful addition to Ventura City Council.”
“I am honored to have the endorsements of these democratic organizations,” said Sanchez-Palacios. “I’m honored by all of my endorsements and those who choose to support my candidacy. I am committed to upholding Ventura’s great values and standards, while working with the entire community to address the challenges we face in the coming years.”
