The Ventura County Poet Laureate advances awareness of and appreciation for poetry within Ventura County. The laureateship is an honorary position held by a distinguished poet who is a Ventura County resident with an established presence and history of involvement in the local literary community.

Nominations are due by October 31, 2024.

Vendor Applications for Ventura County Celebration of Books

The Ventura County Celebration of Books is on October 12, 2024, at the California State University Channel Islands Campus. The Ventura County Library Foundation is now accepting applications from artists, authors, crafters, and other vendors who are interested exhibiting at the event.
