The class will focus on learning about the Zapotec weaving history, design elements and weaving process. Students will work on a hand loom to create a small weaving using plant and insect dyed yarn by master dyer Juana Gutierrez. Student’s work will be displayed in the CAM Gallery Studio after the completion of each session.
