Two at-odds auto mechanics discover a mysterious shaman in their humble shop. The shape-shifter offers lessons on how to tune life’s engine. WRENCH is performed in a unique magical-realism style where the frontier between reality and a deeper truth is blurred.

Performances begin Friday July 30 and run thru August 15.

The Teatro de las Américas Board of Directors is thrilled to announce that we have a new home located at 321 West 6th Street in downtown Oxnard. In the face of the pandemic, Teatro had the opportunity to acquire a new venue for its performing arts, but was forced to pause its mission to the local communities. With that, we decided to step back, and find alternative ways to bring performance art through our virtual programming. As part of these efforts, Alina Ceñal and James Donlon adapted “Words From A Cuban Father” into a film at Teatro’s space. We invite you to come celebrate with us our new home and to be a part of Teatro’s new adventure in downtown Oxnard.
