VENTURA — Ventura Mayor Joe Schroeder will deliver the annual State of the City Address on Thursday, September 19, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and the public is invited to tune in. The event will be live-streamed on the City of Ventura’s YouTube channel at YouTube.com/CityofVentura, with a second State of the City presentation during the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 8.
“Our State of the City Address is a great opportunity to connect with the community, celebrate our accomplishments, and look ahead to the future,” said Mayor Joe Schroeder. “I encourage everyone to join us and see firsthand how we’re driving meaningful progress and building a stronger, more resilient Ventura.”
In his address, Mayor Schroeder will provide an update on Ventura’s financial status, highlight Council-adopted initiatives, and share important business and operational developments, along with future goals for the city. Key focus areas will include fiscal responsibility, quality of life, economic vitality, public safety, and environmental stewardship.
The Ventura Chamber of Commerce will host the September 19 event, and residents can watch the live stream or purchase tickets through the Chamber’s website at VenturaChamber.com
