Art To-Go Bags Giveaway
Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
The Santa Paula Art Museum will be giving away free Art To-Go Bags on Saturday, February 20, at 10:00 a.m. The bags will be available via a drive-thru only pick up in the parking lot behind the Museum (while supplies last). Please wear a face mask during pick up. This month’s free art bag celebrates Black History Month and Black artists Alma Thomas, Clementine Hunter, Jacob Lawrence, and Faith Ringgold. Using the artists’ works as inspiration, kids will get to explore a variety of projects including color field painting, daily life drawing, visual story-telling, and paper quilting.
The Museum’s free, monthly Art To-Go Bags are made possible by sponsors Brianne McGrath, Rotary Club of Santa Paula, Kai and John Blanchard, Fran and Jim Christiansen, Patti Fallini, Kathy Good, Laurence Holmer, Willa and Earl McPhail, Michael Pulliam, Santa Paula VFW Post #2043, and Dorcas Thille.
