SANTA MARIA — The Righetti FFA “Kinderpatch” will be open for more than 700 elementary school students from throughout the county on Friday, October 25th.
The event offers youngsters a chance to learn about plants, crops, animals and enjoy ag activities including pumpkin games, a hay maze, petting zoo and other attractions. It starts at 8 a.m. and ends about noon.
The annual tradition, which has been operating for more than 25 years, offers FFA members a great opportunity to perform community service.
“Our Kinderpatch is highly anticipated every year by our students and community, and we look forward to being able to host this event on campus,’’ said Warrior Agriculture Teacher Amy Guerra.
More than 200 Warrior FFA high school students will be on hand to engage the young guests.
