Public Hearing on Wildfire Recovery and Prevention

Dear Friend,

From the Thomas Fire and Montecito debris flow to the Holiday Fire in Goleta, our community has endured more than our fair share of devastation these past several months. As we begin to rebuild and plan for future wildfire prevention, you are invited to join county officials, representatives from the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services and CAL FIRE, Assemblymember Monique Limón and me for a public hearing on the vision for Santa Barbara County’s wildfire recovery and rebuild efforts as well as the state’s on-going plan for future wildfire mitigation, response and recovery.

WHAT: Informational Hearing: Vision for Santa Barbara Recovery and Rebuild: Evaluating Where We Are, the Long-Term Plan for Revitalizing Our Community, and Ensuring Continued Effective Collaboration. 
WHEN: Thursday, July 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
WHERE: Montecito Union School District Auditorium, 385 San Ysidro Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93108. The hearing will be livestreamed.
