VENTURA — A panel discussion on “Beisbol: From the Barrios to the Big Leagues,” will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Museum of Ventura County, 100 E. Main St., Ventura.
There will also be a book signing for “Mexican American Baseball in the Central Coast.”
Anna Rios Bermudez, curator of collections at the Museum of Ventura County, and Jose M. Alamillo, professor and coordinator of the Chicano/a Studies Program at CSU Channel Islands, will lead a discussion panel about the scholarship and stories that formed the exhibit, now on view at the museum.
The exhibit continues through Nov. 30.
