The Oxnard High School Marching Band & Auxiliary Boosters are hosting the 4th Annual Casino Night Fundraising Event from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, May 6 at the Elks Lodge, 801 So. “A” St., Oxnard.
Come enjoy a “Vegas-style” evening carried out with featured casino games including Blackjack, craps roulette, poker, Texas Hold’em by Casino Knights©, as well as a fabulous Mexican dinner buffet, a no-host bar, and amazing raffle baskets and silent auction throughout the night, organizers reported in a media release.
Raffle tickets are available now for a chance to win a 46” flat screen TV, iPad, an IPOD Touch, Sony PS3 game console bundle pack, and HP laptop computer. Jewelry and Tequila Raffle Prizes include Premium Brand Tequila basket and diamond sapphire ring. At the end of the evening, two lucky winners will win a trip to Las Vegas. Any of these items will make the perfect Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or graduation gifts!
The evening will kickoff out with a cocktail hour from 6 to 7 p.m., while guests will be entertained by the smooth sounds of the Oxnard High School Jazz Band. Live dance band and DJ will entertain the guests later in the evening.
The event is open to the public and members of the community, but you must be at least 21 years of age to attend. Event tickets are $30 per person ($35 at the door), and each ticket will include $300 in “funny money”. Additional “funny money” may also be purchased at the event. Event Raffle tickets are $10 per ticket, and winners need not be present to win!
Proceeds will benefit the award-winning band and auxiliary for expenses such as transportation to competitions, uniforms, spring trip, and other costs associated with this music program. Limited VIP Tables are available for reserved seating.
VIP Tables include the following: EVERYTHING included in the General Admission & VIP ticket levels PLUS… Reserved Seating w/ VIP Ticket Amenities; VIP Entrance; VIP Name Table Sign; Additional door prize raffle tickets; Seating for 10: $300. The Boosters also invite “silent players” to purchase tickets to support the organization even if they are unable to attend.
