New Ventura College Foundation Website Makes It Easier For Student To Navigate Scholarships/Financial Assistance Options

VENTURA — The Ventura College Foundation has unveiled its new website designed to make it easier for students to engage with the foundation and explore scholarship opportunities, tuition relief and textbook lending options. It also provides a simple process for donors to contribute online and learn about other ways to give, for community members to volunteer and vendors to register for the Ventura College Foundation’s Weekend Marketplace.

Stories of student academic and personal transformation through philanthropic support are woven into every page of the website.

“It is our hope that our new site will facilitate and inspire additional important support for our students and Ventura College,” says Anne Paul King, executive director of the foundation. “The site also enables the foundation to be very transparent. Our governance and board documents are all there.”

The website contains a calendar of important dates and events including scholarship application deadlines, scholarship workshops and campus tour schedules.

Designed by Searle Creative Group, a marketing, graphic and web design firm based in Ventura, the new foundation website is at www.VenturaCollegeFoundation.org

Established in 1983, the Ventura College Foundation provides financial support to the students and the programs of Ventura College to facilitate student success and grow the impact and legacy of Ventura College as a vital community asset. The Foundation also hosts the Ventura College Foundation Marketplace; an outdoor shopping experience held every weekend on the Ventura College campus east parking lot.
