The
Museum of Ventura County and the Ventura Film Society will co-present the
Museum Matinee Series, as part of the exhibit ‘At Table: The Business of Food and Community’. The first in the series is
City of Gold, a documentary about Pulitzer Prize-winning, Los Angeles food critic, Jonathan Gold as he explores the cultural, historical, economical and diversity of Los Angeles’ culinary culture will be shown on Sept. 23 at 1 pm. A concession will available with boxed candy, bagged popcorn, soft drinks, beer and wine for purchase. Admission is $5 for members (both Museum members and Film Society members) and $10 for non-members. The film will be shown in the
Museum’s Smith Pavilion, 100 E. Main Street, Ventura.
