Dear Frank,
Time is of the essence! We are so excited to have gotten such a positive early response to our Giving Tuesday campaign this year to help keep your Museum free for everyone. In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, we offered free admission to both the Museum of Ventura County and the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula.
This meant:
- Free exhibits of art and historical artifacts
- Free programs like “Mindfulness at the Museum”
- Free access to the Children’s Gardens in Ventura and Santa Paula
- Free school tours for Title I schoolchildren across the County
- Free live video and in-person author talks, panel discussions, and interviews
- Free access to new online content launched each month, including puzzles, games, activities, digitized photographs, historic blogs, and articles.
As a cultural institution, we understand providing free admission gives community access to culturally significant activities, events, art, and historical artifacts that not everyone would be able to access otherwise. A gift to the Museum is a gift to the community. Now, more than ever, community connection is something to cherish.
If you’ve already given, there are still two ways you can get involved: share this email and our
crowdfunding page with family and friends, and/or repost our Giving Tuesday social media posts on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
