Mix and Mingle at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum on March 24

The Channel Islands Maritime Museum will be hosting a party for new and prospective members at the museum on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 5-7 pm. Refreshments will be served to guests, and there will be a cash bar for alcoholic beverages. Guests will have the opportunity to view the Floating Stories, Ancient Waves exhibit in its last days; test their maritime knowledge for prizes; and meet some animated figures from our art collection and view our ship models.

Basic museum membership benefits include free museum admission, subscription to the quarterly newsletter Call Pipe, a 10% discount on purchases in the museum store, and free admission to museum events. Higher levels of membership, Lieutenant and above, feature benefits including free admission to hundreds of NARM museums nationwide
The museum welcomes the public and community to attend. Admission to the museum is $5 for non-members, $4 for seniors 62+, $2 for children 6-17, free for members and children under 6. Third Thursday of the month is free.

The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is open daily 11-5 pm. Located in Oxnard’s Channel Islands Harbor at 3900 Bluefin Circle, permanent exhibits include a seascape gallery of rare and beautiful maritime paintings dating back to the 1600’s and more than sixty world-class models of historic ships and interactive contemporary exhibits and a gift shop.
