OXNARD — Channel Islands Maritime Museum (CIMM) celebrates the world’s most popular beverage and its relationship with maritime history and commerce on Saturday, May 18th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Maritime Tea Time will take place on the museum’s Upper Deck which features incredible views of scenic Channel Islands Harbor.
The afternoon includes tea tasting and delicious snacks from around the globe (England, India, American South, Myanmar, Argentina, France) an opportunity drawing, live harp music, and a tea leaf reader. Guests will enjoy socializing in good company in the beautiful museum setting with harbor views while having the opportunity to learn learning about the museum’s plans for exciting new exhibits at the museum. For a donation of $35 guests will receive admission to the event.
Established in 1991, the Channel Islands Maritime Museum provides an enriching museum experience based on maritime history ranging from ancient mariners to the modern marine era.
