Lights Up! Theatre Company debuts its inaugural musical Big Fish at the Marjorie Luke Theatre!A delightful, fantastical journey through the imagination of a traveling salesman from Alabama, Big Fish promises a moveable feast of mermaids, witches, giants, and even a traveling circus as part of theatrical charm of this full-scale teen production. featuring many of Santa Barbara’s brightest teen performers including Teen Star finalists Lauren Cantin and Julia Galloway. The Marjorie Luke Theatre presents the Santa Barbara premiere screening of the powerful film ‘Who Will Write Our History’.  Written, Produced, and Directed by Roberta Grossman, Executive Produced by Nancy Spielberg, based on the book by Samuel Kassow.  Roberta Grossman sheds light on the lives of 450,000 Jews in the 1940’s Warsaw ghetto. Grossman reveals a secret band of journalists, scholars and community leaders who decide to fight back. Led by historian Emanuel Ringelblum and known by the code name Oyneg Shabes, this clandestine group vows to defeat Nazi lies and propaganda, not with guns or fists but with pen and paper.

With Special Guest Writer/Director/Producer Roberta Grossman who will be present for a discussion and Q & A immediately following the 96 minute film.
