VENTURA COUNTY — The Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC) will be hosting a free Reverse Mortgage workshop on Tuesday, July 31st at 11:00am open to anyone interested in learning about the basics of reverse mortgages. There are two ways to attend: 1.) in person at the VCCDC office located at 2231 Sturgis Road, Suite A, in Oxnard 2.) Online via a live webinar (link is sent once registration is completed).
Reverse mortgages can be used to supplement income, meet unexpected medical expenses, make home improvements, and many other reasons. As with any mortgage product, a reverse mortgage can be complicated and it can have pros and cons depending on your situation. Participants will receive information on:
