Guelaguetza 2012 will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 24 at Oxnard Plaza Park at C and Fifth Streets.
Sponsored by the government of the state of Oaxaca in Mexico, the Mexican Consulate in Oxnard, the Ventura County Mexican American Bar Association, the City of Oxnard and the Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project, Reiter Affiliated Companies and Clinicas del Camino Rela, the event includes performances by Ballet Folklórico Nueva Antequera, Oaxacan arts and crafts and food and presentations by the Organición Cultural Oaxaqueña Nuu Savi.
