OXNARD — The final performances of Teatro de las Américas’ “La Patas de Hilo,” a Román Calvo’s musical comedy, will be held at 8 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15 at the Oxnard College Black Box Theater, 4000 S. Rose Ave., Oxnard.
Directed by Robert Sanchez and Angela Rodriguez, with music directed by Miguel Heredia, the play features a flirtatious, mischievous, vampire-like mistress eager to lure as many unsuspecting Villistas and Zapatistas as she can into her deadly arms during the turbulent times of the Mexican Revolution and Cristeros Rebellion.
Tickets are $5 for Oxnard College students, $10 for seniors, students and military, $15 for general admission and $25 for VIP reserved seats.
