“Curious Unions,” a book presentation by Frank P. Barajas, will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 8 at Café on A, 438 So. A St., Oxnard.
Presented by the CSU Channel Islands History and Chicana/o Studies programs, the event features a presentation and signing of “Curious Unions: Mexican American Workers and Resistence in Oxnard, California, 1898-1961” by Barajas, professor of history at CSU Channel Islands. The book will be sold at a discounted price of $40.
