Children’s Resource Network to hold rally on Jan. 22

Childrens Resource Network — “Helping local children in need with clothing and school supplies,” in partnership with the Mexican Consulate in Oxnard, is holding a series of mobile rallies at 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22 at Rancho Santa Maria, 1580 Stowell Road, Santa Maria; 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22 at the Guadalupe Family Resource Center, 481 11th St., Guadalupe and at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22 at the Nipomo Family Resource Center, 920 W. Tefft, Nipomo.

The organization is seeking brand new school supplies, diapers, gently-used clothing and contributions to support its programs, said Lisa Ray, founder, CEO and president of the Pismo Beach-based organization.

Childrens Resource Network provides local children in need with clothing, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, blankets, holiday items; Halloween Thanksgiving meals and Christmas presents, the organization reported on its website. We also help women in need with clothing, pregnant teens or women with maternity clothing, moms with newborn babies with clothing and diapers, the homeless and the previously homeless with clothing, blankets, basic household items like beds, towels and dishes.
