OXNARD — The Promotoras y Promotores Foundation will present a bilingual information program on the Affordable Care Act and Covered California from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at its offices, 1500 Camino Del Sol, Room 21, in the Oxnard Housing building.
The program will provide information on:
- Who is eligible?
- Penalties and deadlines.
- Premiums, deductibles, copays and subsidies.
- How does ACA affect you?
- The Metal tiers — Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
- Who can help you enroll.
- Plans available in your area.
- Scams.
Information will be provided how to calculate costs using income information (modified adjusted gross income or MAGI), income tax filing status (single, joint, dependents).
