Arts for Action will present “Oxnard, Te Amo,” with an auction from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Oxnard Public Library, 251 So. A St., Oxnard. A meet-and-greet event with the artists will be held at 6 p.m., followed by the show at 7 p.m.
The local fundraiser benefits Arts for Action youth education and job training programs and will also honor community members living with AIDS in Ventura County.
Local artists and community members unite to show modern and fine art pieces that reflect the love many have come to have for Oxnard and its people, the organization reported in a media release. Celebrating its abundant culture and diversity the group invites the public to come out and see Oxnard through its eyes, while supporting the arts in the community.
Arts For Action is a local community organization that works with youth, people of color and working families, together taking action and working for a more sustainable community.
