SANTA MARIA — Allan Hancock College Athletics is hosting its annual golf tournament this spring to benefit the college’s sports programs.
The third-annual AHC Athletics Final Fore Golf Tournament will take place on April 8 at the Santa Maria Country Club. Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the athletic programs at Hancock, which serves more than 300 student-athletes who participate in 15 California Community College Athletic Association programs.
“The Final Fore Golf Tournament is a great opportunity to celebrate the success of our athletic programs here at Allan Hancock,” said Hancock Athletic Director Kim Ensing. “We were thrilled about the support we received at the event over the last two years and are excited to continue building on that this year. We’re looking forward to providing an environment that will allow people to take a break from their daily grind, enjoy the outdoors, and rally around the goal of supporting our efforts to provide a meaningful experience for these athletes.”
During the tournament, teams of four will tee off at noon to start the day on the 18-hole course. Lunch will be provided on the course, along with additional snacks and drinks available for purchase while participants play. Later in the day, supporters can join Bulldog athletes for beverages and bar food as they host a special viewing party for the NCAA National Championship Final Four basketball game at the clubhouse. Fans who are not interested in playing on the green can skip the course and opt for a “Viewing Party Only” ticket package. All participants will have the opportunity to win numerous prizes, including a pair of Fan Experience tickets to the 2025 NCAA Basketball National Championship.

SANTA MARIA – – La divisio?n deportiva de AHC estara? organizando su torneo anual de golf, la cual se llevara? a cabo esta primavera para beneficiar los programas deportivos del colegio.
El tercer torneo anual de golf “Final Fore” se realizara? el 8 de abril en el Santa Mari?a Country Club. Los fondos obtenidos durante el torneo beneficiara?n a los programas deportivos de Hancock, que respaldan a ma?s de 300 estudiantes-atletas que participan en 15 programas de la Asociacio?n Atle?tica de Colegios Comunitarios de California.
“El torneo de golf es una gran oportunidad para celebrar el e?xito de nuestros programas deportivos aqui? en Allan Hancock,” comento? Durante el torneo, equipos de cuatro jugara?n en el campo de 18 hoyos a partir del mediodi?a. Habra? comida en el campo, adema?s de bocadillos y bebidas para comprar. Ma?s tarde, habra? una fiesta en el club para ver el juego final de basquetbol del torneo “Final Four” de la NCAA. Los que no jueguen pueden optar por un paquete de boletos para la “Fiesta de Observacio?n”. Todos los participantes tendra?n la oportunidad de ganar varios premios, incluyendo un par de boletos para la experiencia Fan del Campeonato Nacional de Basquetbol de la NCAA en 2025.
