Your reaction to our first monthly print edition in April has been overwhelming. As we speak, we are looking at new print distribution locations for the May edition in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, with eventual plans to head up the coast to distribute copies in San Luis Obispo County.
We have also noticed a significant jump in the number of visitors to our website. While we have been averaging about 150,000 hits per month this year, we received nearly 125,000 in just the first half of April alone. We credit that to you picking up our April edition and telling your friends that they should go to our website to get up-to-date information or subscribe to our e-newsletter, both featuring clickable links to recent blog posts, 805 Regional News media releases, calendar items and advertisements.
Speaking of advertisers, thank you for supporting our first monthly print edition in April. That is very much appreciated by both Amigos805 and by the community that relies of Amigos805 to provide breaking news on issues and events impacting the community.
