LOMPOC — Savie Health, a non-profit medical clinic offering free care to the uninsured, will host a luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 4, to recognize the individuals and organizations that have contributed to the clinic’s successful first year in operation.

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Pico Los Alamos restaurant in Los Alamos, and feature a multi-course lunch with wine pairings, entertainment, and a raffle. The event will honor Savie Health’s supporters and sponsors including Executive Director of Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization Ashley Costa, and the Lompoc Valley Medical Center. Jon Clark, president of the Bower Foundation and also a Savie Health supporter, will emcee the celebration.

Tickets to the event are open to the public and go on sale on the clinic’s website, saviehealth.org, August 21, at $150 per person. Savie Health is also seeking sponsors for the luncheon starting at $500. Proceeds will support the clinic’s work and mission, to serve more uninsured community members through the provision of preventive and behavioral healthcare services.

In addition, the organization would like to express gratitude for the event’s organizing committee: Chair Alex Murkison, a Savie Health board member and development associate at The Fund for Santa Barbara; Jocelyn Caudillo, community engagement coordinator at Savie Health; Emily Dixon, patient care navigator at Lompoc Valley Medical Center; Ahmad Nooristani, founder, board chair, and medical director at Savie Health, as well as chief hospitalist at Lompoc Valley Medical Center and founder of the SLO NOOR Foundation; Savie Health’s Executive Director Eryn Shugart; and Event Planner Mary Anne Knox.
