THOUSAND OAKS — Sponsor and exhibitor slots are now available for the 63rd annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD), May 9 through 12 at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Rd./23 Freeway) in Thousand Oaks.

Sponsorship opportunities range from onsite banners to title sponsor. Local businesses and craftspeople can show off their products or services in booths along CVD’s Main Street.

Exhibitors are required to decorate their booths in a western theme and wear western attire. “We want to keep the western history of the Conejo Valley alive at CVD,” says Frank Akrey, CVD president. “Many residents don’t realize that the Conejo Valley was once filled will cattle and sheep ranches.”

For the third year, Kastl Amusements will be providing the carnival rides and game booths. The four-day event features entertainment for kids, teens and the whole family including live music and hands-on exhibits included with general admission.

Over 25 local nonprofit groups participate in CVD each year, raising money that is invested back into the community. CVD hours are Thursday, May 9, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 5:00 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, May 11, noon to midnight and Sunday, May 12, noon to 8:00 p.m.

Exhibitor forms are available on the CVD website, www.conejovalleydays.us. A limited number of food vendor spots are still open. Food vendor inquiries should be sent to sarahakrey@gmail.com.
