OXNARD — The Collection at RiverPark is turning up the excitement this summer with a fresh lineup of new tenants ready to join the vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment destination. From crave-worthy eats to cutting-edge services, these new arrivals are sure to delight visitors and add even more flavor to the community’s favorite gathering place.

OPAC’s Dia de los Muertos expands in 2024 with month-long Community Altar in partnership with The Collection

OXNARD — OPAC (Oxnard Performing Arts Center Corporation) is excited to announce its annual Día de los Muertos Celebration, a two-part event that will culminate on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, from 4-9 pm at the Oxnard Performing Arts & Convention Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

This year, the celebration extends with a month-long Día de los Muertos Community Altar at The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard, running from October 1 – November 2, 2024. This vibrant display titled “Recuérdame” (Remember Me) is hosted in partnership with The Collection and will be located between Lazy Dog and the Cheesecake Factory. The community is invited to honor their loved ones by participating in a heartfelt tribute to those who have passed.

PizzaMan Dan’s brings a slice of pizza paradise to The Collection

PizzaMan Dan’s, which opened recently in The Annex Food Hall at The Collection, is now offering a one-of-a-kind dining experience with the addition of several new technological elements, including an ordering kiosk, automated full bar and pizza serving robot, as well as neon furniture and a giant LED screen.

The Collection prepares to welcome several new tenants this year

As The Collection at RiverPark continues to thrive, several new tenants will be opening their doors in 2022. From one-of-a-kind restaurants to unique entertainment, these new merchants add even more variety to The Collection’s expansive selection of shopping, dining and entertainment offerings.

Foodies have cause to rejoice with the announcement of Two Hands Corn Dogs, the Korean-style corndogs joining the lineup at The Annex Food Hall. Restauranteur Jorge Cueva, also known as Mr. Tempo, brings his unique culinary experiences to the shopping center with King and Queen Cantina, opening on Town Center Drive.

Red Door Escape Room coming soon to The Collection

The Collection at RiverPark is welcoming Red Door Escape Room to the 650,000-square-foot, open-air shopping center. The new facility, which is expected to open around May, will be Red Door’s ninth location nationwide and its third location in California.

The Red Door facility at The Collection will be 5,600 square feet and feature eight of Red Door’s proprietary escape room episodes as well as an event suite for corporate events, birthday parties and more. The facility will be able to host groups of about 80 people when large gathering are permitted again.

The Collection partners with local fire departments for Spark of Love Toy Drive

This year marks the 28th Annual Spark of Love Toy Drive, and The Collection at RiverPark is partnering with the fire departments of Ventura County and ABC7 to help safely collect toys and distribute them to children in need.

Each year, Spark of Love brightens the holiday season for local families by providing presents for children who might otherwise have nothing to unwrap. Last year, over 60,000 toys were donated to Ventura County’s Spark of Love Toy Drive, supporting more than 6,000 local children and over 30 nonprofits. This year, due to the pandemic, donations are needed more than ever.
