TOArts’ AccessArts Program announces $50,000 available in grants to support arts education in Ventura County and beyond

Thousand Oaks Arts’ (TOArts) AccessArts Grant Program is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year.  

The AccessArts Grant Program intends to spur investments in providing high-quality arts education to elementary students of Ventura County and the cities of Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills in Los Angeles County.  

Thousand Oaks Arts (TOArts) Announces New Associate Director

Thousand Oaks Arts (TOArts) is proud to announce the promotion of Niki Richardson to the role of Associate Director; Richardson has served as Development Director since 2017. The growth of the arts nonprofit over the past four years, since the merger of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation and the Alliance for the arts, has been steady. Richardson’s responsibilities have evolved correspondingly;in addition to development, Niki has taken on oversight of arts education programs, grants, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.  

TOArts Announces Phased Re-Opening with mix of virtual, outdoor, and in-theatre events

Thousand Oaks Arts (TOArts) Presents is back with a diverse lineup of entertainment for the community. With a mix of virtual, outdoor, and eventual in-person events, TOArts and the Bank of America Performing Arts Center (BAPAC) are excited to bring back safe and fun performances to the Conejo Valley.  

TOArts Presents kicked off in May with “TOArts Scene at the Greens” at the Los Robles Greens golf course. Upcoming performances will include a trio from professional orchestra and Resident Company, New West Symphony, and comedian Craig Shoemaker. Tickets will be sold in pod seating to ensure social distancing and community safety.
