Having appeared on shows like the Tonight Show and Good Morning America, Corbin and his animals are very recognizable personalities.
Explore the world of reptiles as Corbin introduces you to some of his friends. Shows are free but seats are limited. The Collection celebrates another year of success and announces big plans for 2023
All year long, The Collection at RiverPark has been bringing excitement to the community with grand openings, community events, shopping, dining and entertainment for all ages. As The Collection looks ahead to 2023, it is celebrating the successes of one of its best years yet.
“Here at The Collection, our goal is to bring people together, offering all their favorite shops, services, restaurants, entertainment destinations and events in a single location that provides a sense of community,” said The Collection’s Marketing and Business Development Manager, Juliana Finberg. “As we reflect on another terrific year, we look forward to what’s to come in 2023 — and we’ve got tons of exciting plans lined up already.”
Big things are coming to The Collection this fall
Summer may be coming to an end, but The Collection at RiverPark is keeping the fun going right into fall. In the coming months, The Collection at RiverPark is offering tons of excitement for visitors with two free concerts, several grand openings, a 5K walk and more.
“Fall is full of big plans here at The Collection,” said Marketing Director Jill Almonia. “In addition to all of the amazing shopping, dining and entertainment experiences we offer year-round, we’ve got lots of excellent events coming up this season — plus several incredible new businesses getting ready to open their doors.”
The Collection’s popular concert series, Rock the Collection, continues this fall with two more free events for all ages. On Sept. 28, The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band, will get everyone singing along to classic favorites. And on Oct. 19, Bruno and the Hooligans, a Bruno Mars tribute band, will be playing crowd pleasers all evening. Grab some lawn chairs and takeout, and head over to the grass at Collection Park to join the party. The music starts at 6:30 p.m.
Kids Club Returns to The Collection
Throughout the summer, The Collection at Riverpark will be offering a series of Kids Club events, sponsored by Sunny Smiles Dentistry for Children and Young Adults. Full of kid-friendly fun, these events will be free and open to all the community’s youngsters and their families.
The Kids Clubs will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the grass at Collection Park and take place on the following Wednesday mornings: June 22, July 6, July 13, July 20 and Aug. 3.
The Collection offers spring fun for everyone
Spring has sprung, and The Collection at RiverPark is offering tons of exciting opportunities to hop into the spirit of the season. All are welcome to come together and enjoy the warm weather at these fun festivities for the community. From scavenger hunts, giveaways and Spring Bunny photos to a Spring Festival and Earth Day activities, there’s something for everyone.
CenterCal Expands Third-Party Advisory Services Division
CenterCal Properties, a mixed-use developer and retail operator, announced the official expansion of their new Redevelopment & Advisory services division.
CenterCal Properties, along with Shea Properties, is the co-owner of The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard.
CenterCal’s third-party services division partners with real estate owners and investors and supports them in revitalizing their existing retail centers, enhancing value for their customers, retailers and communities they serve. To lead this expanding growth channel, CenterCal recently hired prominent international real estate and entertainment visionary Paul Kurzawa as Chief Operating Officer.
The Collection offers law enforcement discount at The Annex Food Hall
In honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, The Collection at RiverPark is offering Ventura County law enforcement a 20% discount on food and beverages at the Annex Food Hall. This month-long program to recognize and thank law enforcement for their many contributions to the community will begin on Jan. 9 and continue through Feb. 9, 2022.
All law enforcement employees from any police department, sheriff’s office or highway patrol office in Ventura County are invited to take advantage of the discount with proof of employment at any of the participating locations at The Annex.

New Bowlero Center Opens in The Collection at RiverPark with grand opening on Nov. 13
Bowlero Corp, the world leader in bowling entertainment, is excited to unveil its stunning new location at The Collection in RiverPark. The Collection at RiverPark offers community fun all fall
The Collection at RiverPark offers shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities for all interests and tastes in a spacious, open-air atmosphere. To add to the fun, this fall the shopping center is hosting a variety of events and experiences for the community to enjoy.
“We have so many exciting things happening at The Collection this fall,” said the shopping center’s Marketing Manager, Jill Almonia. “There’s fun for all ages, and with so much to eat, drink, see and do, you’ll stop by for an event and end up wanting to spend the whole day exploring.”
The Collection at RiverPark welcomes several new tenants
The Collection at RiverPark, a 650,000-square-foot, open-air shopping center, is growing once again, with the addition of eight new businesses that will be opening their doors throughout the rest of the year. This marks a continued trend of success for The Collection, which has celebrated several grand openings in the past year.
New tenants opening soon at The Collection include PizzaMan Dan’s, Red Door Escape Room, Bowlero (a 32,000-square-foot venue), King and Queen Cantina, Salons by JC, Keller Williams and Exer Urgent Care.
The Collection at RiverPark hosts weekly Farmers Market
Beginning on June 19, The Collection at RiverPark will be hosting a Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in partnership with Raw Inspiration. Presented by Community Memorial Health System, the Farmers Market will be located on Collection Boulevard across from The Annex Food Hall.
On opening day, June 19, The Collection will kick off the Farmers Market with fun festivities for all ages. There will be live music, arts and crafts, photo opportunities, and more for the whole family to enjoy. From opening day forward, the weekly Farmers Market will offer visitors a chance to stroll in the sunshine as they shop for fresh, local, farm-to-table food.
“We can’t wait to welcome the community to this new Farmers Market,” said the shopping center’s Marketing Manager, Jill Almonia. “Here in Oxnard, we are fortunate to have a strong agricultural community and beautiful farmland right in our own backyard. This is a great opportunity to get outside this summer, support local farmers and merchants, and find some of the most delicious produce.”
Salons by JC coming soon to The Collection at RiverPark
Salons by JC, a company that leases upscale individual suite space to beauty industry professionals, is coming soon to The Collection at RiverPark. The new location will open by fall 2021, with 38 suites available for massage therapists, acupuncturists, lash stylists, and other beauty or wellness professionals. Salons by JC is owned by local Ventura County residents Gene and Bobbi Ramirez, who also own Amazing Lash Studio at The Collection.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Salons by JC to The Collection,” said the shopping center’s Marketing Manager, Jill Almonia. “Amazing Lash Studio has been a tremendous success, and we look forward to offering our community another wonderful personal care shop to experience.”

The Collection celebrates numerous reopenings

24 Hour Fitness Super Sport welcomes guests back indoors while continuing to keep their outdoor gym open for members to enjoy while taking a GX Studio class such as body pump or Zumba. In addition, on Friday, March 19, Century RiverPark 16 & XD will reopen to the community to show exciting new releases and classic movies. For those interested in dining out, many of The Collection’s restaurants are reopening indoor dining at 25% capacity. Restaurants will also be offering outdoor dining with extended patio space, giving visitors an opportunity to enjoy a meal and the warm Southern California weather, while safely social distancing. Additionally, The Collection’s Park View Court area is open for the community to enjoy. Visitors can grab their food or coffee and sit in the courtyard for an outdoor picnic.
