SANTA BARBARA — One805 mourns the loss of our board member, colleague and friend, Tony Pighetti, who was a tireless advocate for the mental wellness of our First Responders. A retired firefighter with 30 years in the City of Santa Barbara Fire Department, Tony selflessly volunteered his time and talents to ensure our bravest, among whom he was counted and loved, had resources to help them get counseling and support.

SANTA BARBARA — On Monday, November 6, 2023, One805 presented donations to Chris Mailes, President of the Fire Chiefs Association of Santa Barbara County. The event took place at 6300 Hollister Avenue at 12 p.m.
Thirty-seven Seek Thermal FirePRO 300 devices, which help firefighters navigate through low visibility conditions by helping them see hazards invisible to the naked eye, were donated to Santa Barbara County Firefighters. One805 ran a “fundraiser within a fundraiser” at its One805Live! Fall Music Festival in September, earning enough to purchase fourteen Seek Thermal FirePRO 300 devices, with a promise from Seek Thermal to match, who exceeded its match promise with an additional nine extra devices to cover each fire station in the county.
One805 will host a tribute concert in honor of Alan Parsons’ 75th Birthday to raise funds for Santa Barbara County First Responders on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the Lobero Theatre (33 E Canon Perdido St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101).
The lineup includes Alan Parsons OBE, Michael McDonald, Al Stewart, Joe Bonamassa, Terry Sylvester (The Hollies), David Pack (Ambrosia), magicians Stetson and Bill Cook, as well as special guests in an all-star musical and magical tribute concert to Alan on his 75th birthday.
