5th Annual Hot Summer Night Seeks Sponsors

The 5th annual Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night festival, which features over 100 small-batch hot sauce companies from around the world, is seeking sponsors. The event is set for Thursday, July 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Los Robles Golf Course in Thousand Oaks. Its theme is “Bringing People Together.”

Hot Summer Night proceeds benefit the Ventura County Fire Department Widows, Orphans & Assistance Fund and the Old Boney Mountain Foundation For Kids.

THOUSAND OAKS — Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night Festival is back in person after a two-year hiatus. It will take place on Thursday, July 14 at The Gardens at Los Robles Golf Course (299 S. Moorpark Rd. in Thousand Oaks). The outdoor patio event features unlimited craft beer, wine, spirits, hot sauce and food tastings. This year’s festival theme is “Bringing People Together.”

Festival-goers can sample sauces while enjoying live music and local cuisine. Singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist Wais is performing live.

Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night Festival Brings Community Together in Celebration

The third annual Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night festival had an added mission this year—to encourage the community to support the almost 20 participating local businesses including restaurants and breweries that continue to operate while following social distancing rules. In addition, the July 11 virtual festival raised money for Rotary charities, first responders and the Grossman Burn Foundation for its care of burn survivors. Presented by Old Boney Mountain Hot Sauce Corp. and the Rotary Club of Newbury Park, the premiere sponsor was Farmers Insurance.

July 11 — Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night Festival Goes Virtual; Winners of International Hot Sauce Competition

The third annual Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night festival will have a virtual twist this year as it takes place Saturday, July 11 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on YouTube and Facebook Live. The festival will be part live, part recorded. Winners of the third annual International Hot Sauce Competition will be announced along with the results of the “People’s Choice World’s Favorite Hot Sauce” “People’s Choice World’s Favorite BBQ Sauce” and “People’s Choice World’s Favorite Label” contests. The festival net proceeds go to benefit Rotary charities, first responders and the Grossman Burn Foundation for its care of burn survivors.
