Jan. 30 — Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program presenting Comprehensive Bereavement Skills Training Class

Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program is offering a free two-day Bereavement Skills Training Class. The class will provide the participant with information on grief and loss, dispel the myths and misconceptions about grief, and teach key components of companioning someone grieving the death of a loved one. Classes are held on Monday, January 23 and January 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at 400 Rosewood Ave, Suite 102 Camarillo, 93010. Space is limited. VENTURA COUNTY — Many children and teens have experienced the death of a loved one, This is a difficult time for anyone grieving a loss. Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program provides two free support groups, Good Grief Club (ages 6-10) and Young Teen Group (ages 11-15). These groups will run from October 5th through November 9th on Thursdays 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. For reservations, contact 805-389-6870 or online at lmvna.org/grief. Space is limited.

Bereavement counseling can offer the support you need to help you through your grief. Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program offers both individual (one-on-one) counseling with trained bereavement counselors/therapists and group counseling.

All support groups are free for the community.

If you have experienced the loss of a loved one due to suicide, do not hesitate to join our Survivors of Suicide Loss grief support group. Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program are committed to maintaining an open, accepting, confidential atmosphere. All free of charge. 

Survivors of Suicide Loss meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm

Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program announces a new Men’s Grief Support Group. The group is for men grieving the death of a loved one. Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program support groups are committed to maintaining an open, accepting, confidential atmosphere. We also offer individual, couple, and family grief counseling in English and Spanish. 

Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program Announces New Group for LBGTQ+ Community

Livingston is pleased to announce a new free 10-week closed-ended grief support group program for our LBGTQ+ community, Understanding Your Grief, written by author, educator, and grief counselor, Alan D. Wolfelt, PhD. The program is intended to companion you on your own unique grief journey.

The Good Grief Club Support Group – Summer Session

Many children and teens have experienced the death of a loved one during the pandemic. This is a difficult time for anyone grieving a loss. Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program groups provide support, connection and validation that they are not alone. 

The Good Grief Club summer session meets every Tuesday starting July 5th and ends on August 9th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

Sept. 21 — Livingston’s Grief and Bereavement Program offers free skills training class
