Studio Channel Islands, located at 2222 E. Ventura Blvd., Camarillo, kicks off the holiday season with its annual holiday fair and festival, 11 a.m., Dec. 4, featuring distinctive artwork for gift-giving created by SCIART artists-in-residence and member artists, live music, free activities for kids, food trucks and more. Visitors can browse through 40 professional artist studios and additional vendors, meeting the artists and watching them at work creating paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs, jewelry, weaving, fabric arts and more. Admission is free and there is ample free parking.
The shopping continues noon to 4 p.m., Dec. 5, throughout Studio Channel Islands’ 40 artist studios offering unique gifts and one-of-a-kind artwork.
