On June 4, 2022, United Way of Ventura County (UWVC) will host its 17th annual Spirit Awards Gala, where it will present awards for volunteerism, community impact and corporate citizenship to local community champions. The event will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Westlake, located at 880 S. Westlake Blvd.
This year, Midge Campbell-Thomas, President, Bank of America Ventura/Santa Barbara, will be recognized with the Milton M. Teague Award for Outstanding Community Volunteerism. She is receiving this award for her efforts as a volunteer leader with numerous nonprofit organizations with a focus on addressing social and economic concerns and building strong communities.
