OXNARD — The DNTN Gallery, the Rodolfo F. Acuña Art Gallery and the City of Oxnard presents the “Celebration of Latino Arts & Culture: Pacific Standard Time — Latino Visions in Oxnard” from Friday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Oct. 31.
Opening reception to be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at multiple art venues.
In celebration of the historic Getty Foundation’s “Pacific Standard Time 2017: Latino Visions LA/LA,” as well as the September 15-October 15, 2017 designation as Latino Heritage Month DNTN Gallery, The Acuna Art Gallery, ODMD, Abel Magana, Executive Director and the City of Oxnard bring together some of the great masters of Chicano/Latino Art of the United States along with emerging Chicano/Latino artists from the greater Oxnard Plains.
The curators for this historic Latino Visions Exhibitions will be Armando Vazquez and Dr. DeVries, owners of one of the most extensive and important Chicana(o) Arts Collection in the United States. Our partners DNTN Gallery, DOMA and the city of Oxnard will provide multiple venue locations, logistical assistance.
