Nov. 14 — Ventura County Community Development Corporation hosts free credit & budgeting for the holidays workshop

VENTURA COUNTY — With over 54% of consumers using some type of credit and/or loan to finance their holiday expenses it’s easy to see how consumers can get wrapped up in holiday debt. Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC) hopes to help Ventura County residents avoid holiday debt by providing a free workshop on Credit and Budgeting for the Holidays. The workshop will take place Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 at the VCCDC Home Ownership Center located at 2231 Sturgis Road, Oxnard, CA 93030 at 6pm.

The workshop will be led by VCCDC Homeownership Specialist, Gabriela Muñoz, who will be going over the following topics:

  • Maintaining good credit during the holidays
  • Avoiding unnecessary holiday debt
  • Creating a Holiday Spending Plan
  • Becoming coupon & sale savvy
  • Tips on safeguarding your identity
  • And more!
